Thieves hit business four times in as many months thumbnail

A gang of heartless thieves have struck at a family-run Newtownstewart business for the fourth time in as many months leaving them wondering if they should open their doors ever again!
Police believe that entry was gained to The Rendezvous Bar premises on the town's Main Street sometime between 1am and 7am yesterday, (Tuesday) morning and a substantial sum of money taken.
The act has been condemned as "nothing short of thuggery' and an 'attack on the community' by local politicians.
Speaking yesterday morning, (Tuesday), family spokesman, Aaron Hempton, said they were distraught and distressed at what had happened a few hours earlier.
"It's already been a roller-coaster year for me and my mother. We had a break-in at Christmas time and we lost our father, Andrew, in January, so we didn't need this kind of thing coming on top of us now. All these things are taking a big toll on our mother, Carol. She can't face it today and has gone home to wonder if she can even open the place up again."
