Brian claims main prize on Captainís Day at Omagh thumbnail

Captain's Day at Omagh Golf Club on Saturday was celebrated in great style with captain, Declan O'Kane, hosting members and guests to play a stroke competition over 18 holes.
With the course in peak condition and with another glorious day it was inevitable several good scores were returned. First prize went to Brian Monteith with an excellent nett 63, in second place came John Joe Campbell one shot behind with a net 64. Richard Barbour sealed the gross prize with an impressive 70.
A cheque for almost £3,000 was presented to James Anderson from Marie Curie at the end of the day.

Brian Monteith claimed the captain's main prize with a great 63 nett. John Joe Campbell claimed second place on count back with a nett 64.
Richard Barbour took the Gross with 70 (Gross); third-place went to Aaron Shortt, 64 nett; fourth place was Paul Logue, nett 65; and fifth was Barry Conroy, nett 67.
