“We wish them all the best and hope they steer the club through another successful year. The incoming presidents are Ignatius Daly and Sinead McGarrity and they are also very welcome in their new roles," said a club spokesperson.
It is a quiet time of year in golfing terms, but the competition secretary and his team are busily putting together a packed calendar of competitions as usual.

The Fintona Pearses are having their big fundraising draw in the golf club this Saturday. There will be an information evening in the club on January 25 for anyone interested in the Fintona cross-community Romanian appeal, in association with the Sunshine Foundation.
The annual golf club dinner dance will be on Saturday, February 4.
Meanwhile, Bridge classes for beginners will be on each Friday evening at 7 30pm, thanks to Bernie McQuaid. The Zumba classes start their Wednesday slot today (Wednesday).
