McCullagh hat-trick helps Hospitals to away win

Spamount Swifts 1. Omagh Hospitals 4.
A MICK McCullagh hat-trick and a goal from Mickey Coyle ensured Omagh Hospitals recorded a 4-1 away win over Spamount Swifts.
Spamount started brightly with Sean Meehan denied by the Hospitals keeper when one-on-one after only 10 minutes.
That miss proved crucial five minutes later when McCullagh scored his first of the game from the spot, after Gerard Gallagher was adjudged to have felled Barry McMahon in the box.
The home side had a great chance to equalise almost immediately, but Eamon Dunphy miss-hit his effort to convert Damien Duffy's pass.
Again, Hospitals punished that miss with McCullagh rounding Shane Collins, after collecting a Coyle pass before firing the ball past home keeper, Christopher Lynch.
The home side almost scored their first of the game towards the end of the half, when Barry Devenney's lofted cross over the keeper was missed by the in-rushing Meehan.
The visitors were all but home and dry by the break when Coyle fired home from the edge of the area to put them 3-0 up.
Spamount responded well in the second half, pulling a goal back on the hour mark when Devenney converted from the penalty spot.
However, Hospitals were not about to be pegged back further and they got the insurance fourth goal a short time later with McCullagh completing his hat-trick with a well-taken header.
