Busy week for Leeds supporters club members
Thursday, 4 December 2008
The next meeting of the Enniskillen and Tyrone Leeds United Supporters Club will take place tomorrow (Friday) at 7.30pm in the Railway Hotel, Enniskillen.
Club membership is continuing to grow with the 100th club member signing up during the week. "There are a number of regulars who have not yet renewed their membership, and they are asked to get in touch with registrar, Tony Roofe, as soon as possible," said a club spokesperson.
New members are most welcome. Membership fees only £6 for adults and £4 for U18s or £12 for family membership.
The next draw will be held tomorrow (Friday). All money raised from the members draw goes back into helping defer the costs of the club trips. Anyone wishing to join can contact any committee member. It is only £10 per month to join.
The club's Christmas dinner, plus annual draw, takes place following the club meeting tomorrow (Friday). All club members will gather in the Railway Hotel, Enniskillen.
The meal will be served at 8pm. Following last year's highly successful night which saw one of the best crowds in recent years, it is again hoped that all members will support the event.
The next trip for the supporters' club will take place from Friday, March 13, to March 15 and will take in the Swindon Town game.
To date there has been a great response from members for the trip. Quite a number of members have already booked their flights. Anyone intending to go on the trip must have their £60 deposit paid to treasurer, David Humphreys.
Members can, if they wish, go ahead and book their own flights. Deposits are not refundable!
