Dromore out in front at the top of the league

DROMORE are out on their own at the top of the Division One table, now the only team with an unblemished record.

Five teams went into the weekend with full points, but a defeat for Killyclogher, and draws for Trillick, Ardboe, and Errigal Ciaran saw them falter.

Dromore were at Plunkett Park, where they defeated Pomeroy by 1-11 to 0-7, with Sean McDonnell getting the only goal of the game.

Omagh took a point from their visit to Ardboe, ending the home side s 100 per cent record, with Ronan O Neill coming off the bench to hit five second half points for the St Enda s.

Errigal and Trillick also drew, 0-8 each, with Lee Brennan scoring six points for the St Macartan s. at Dunmoyle.

Clonoe travelled to Killyclogher, and with the help of a Dominic Campbell goal, defeated the county champions by 1-16 to 1-10.

Carrickmore were winners on the road, with Martin Penrose getting some important scores, as they defeated Strabane by 0-12 to 0-9.

Coalisland scored a 1-11 to 1-9 win over Galbally, with Plunkettt Kane hitting their goal, while Urney scored their first win of the season, goals from Johnny Lafferty and Aidan Lynch helping them get the better of Greencastle by 2-12 to 0-15.

Sean McCaul netted a penalty as Donaghmore came from behind to win the local derby at Edendork by 1-13 to 1-11.
