Godfrey joins old boss at Dergview thumbnailNew Dergview signing, Robbie Godfrey, with first team manager, Richard Clarke, and assistant manager, Gary Simpson.

DERGVIEW have welcomed Ardstraw hotshot Robbie Godfrey to the club.

The striker enjoyed a great season last year for Ardstraw under recently appointed Dergview assistant manager Gary Simpson, will join up again with his former boss at Darragh Park.

Dergview first team manager, Richard Clarke, said: "I am delighted to have signed Robbie for next season. He's a great attacking option, works hard and scores goals. He was sought after by a number of clubs but was keen to come onboard and the challenge of playing in NIFL Championship is something he is looking forward to."

 

John Forsythe Memorial Cup

Meanwhile, Darragh Park will host the the John Forsythe Memorial Cup this Saturday, July 8. Last years winners, Dergview, will host Ballinamallard United and all proceeds will be donated to Cystic Fibrosis. kick-off at 3pm
