Fintona Golf Club lady president, Diane Moffitt, had a great turnout of golfers for her big day. The clubhouse was looking great with plenty of beautiful floral arrangements and a table of fine prizes.
An abundance of home baking and refreshments started the day and then it was on to the golf course to endeavour to return a good scorecard for the prizes and a chance to get one’s name inscribed on the Lady President's Cup.
Dry weather and good scores were the order of the day. The course was in fine condition – all thanks due to Gerard and Davey. The ladies returned to the clubhouse that evening for a lovely dinner prepared by club caterer Tony and his staff.
Afterwards the lady president thanked her family, friends, fellow golfers and everyone involved in making her day a huge success and such a memorable occasion. Donations on the day were made to the Parkinson's charity.
In first place was a delighted Catriona Donnelly who carded an excellent 40 points – a lady who can always handle the big occasions well. Catriona congratulated Diane on her great day, the beautiful prizes and her commitment to Fintona Golf Club in her role as lady p;resident this year.
