Foursomes competition for ladies at Fintona

THANKS to the greenkeepers sterling work in getting the course at Fintona back to a playable condition following damage caused by the floods on the previous Saturday, the ladies were able to play a Foursomes competition on Tuesday, July 25, kindly sponsored by Ivor and Norma from Whites of Omagh.

The winning pair were Pat Quinn and Iris Hanking beating Maggie Mullan and Anna McNelis on countback with 38 points.

Maggie and Anna qualified for the Nellie Garrett Cup to be played in Knock Golf Club on August 31 due to the handicap limit.

At the prizegiving, lady captain Catriona Donnelly thanked Ivor and Norma White for their continued generous sponsorship.
