OMAGH and District Canine Club held their annual dog show on Saturday at the Ecclesville Equestrian Centre in Fintona.

There were all kinds of lovely dogs from all over Northern Ireland for the five judges to go over. Out of an entry of 165 dogs it came down to the final seven group winners.

Head judge, Mr Ralph Dunne, himself a Crufts best in show winner, picked out the lovely cocker spaniel, 'Laveris Night Hawk Over Heaphen', owned by Mrs Heather Arrell, as 'Best in Show'.

Reserve Best in show went to the Australian shepherd 'Caronlea Tequila Sunrise' owned by Ms Karen McDevitt.

"There was a lovely atmosphere all day and everyone seemed to enjoy themselves. The club would like to thank everyone for making it such a successful day," said an event organiser.
