Additional safety signage near primary school at Loughmacrory welcomed

MID Tyrone councillor, Pádraigín Kelly, has welcomes the installation of additional signage in the vicinity of St Teresa’s PS in Loughmacrory following representations she made to DFI Roads Service,

The Sinn Féin councillor said: “Speeding in the vicinity of the school has continued to be a problem and an ongoing issue of concern for parents.

“I am pleased that after some discussion with staff in St Teresa’s and after making representation to DFI, they have added additional signage to warn motorists to slow down in the approaches to the school.”

“However, hazards still exist, and I will be working with DFI to come up with a more comprehensive solution to the dangers being posed.”
