'Strictly Come Dancing' with Blair Memorial Flute Band

PREPARATIONS for The Blair Memorial Flute Band, Pride of Omagh Golden Anniversary celebrations of their formation in 1975 are well underway and the first event, Strictly Come Dancing 2024 will be the beginning of many exciting outings leading up to 2025.

Members and former members make up 12 couples will take to the dance floor in a already sold out event on Saturday, February 24 in the Silverbirch Hotel, Omagh.

“The band would like to take this opportunity ahead of the big night to thank dance tutor, Ruby Rankin, who has put the dancers through their routines; all the sponsors, local business and individuals who always support the band and have given generously again,” said a spokesperson for the band.

“The band are proudly supporting two great charities with this event, Air Ambulance Northern Ireland and The Royal Victoria Regional Health Centre Neonatal Unit as well as band funds.”
