Special fundraiser to celebrate the life and legacy of much-loved Omagh man

THE family of the late Martin 'Big Red' McGaughey, are planning to host a special charity fundraising night in his memory.

Taking place in Top of the Town, John Street, Omagh on Friday, November 28, at 8pm, the 'Paint The Town Red' fundraiser will feature a variety of local bands, a lively raffle with fantastic prizes and plenty of good craic - all in aid of two incredible causes close to Martin's heart: Care for Cancer Omagh and Palliative Care at Omagh Hospital.

Speaking ahead of the event, Martin's son John and daughters Stephanie and Martina, encouraged everyone to come along and support this worthy cause.

"We are having a night of local music to celebrate the life of our Dad, Martin (Big Red) McGaughey in The Top of The Town to raise money for two local services which are very close to our heart.

"There will be a raffle on the night with many prizes generously donated by local businesses. So please come join us for a night of great music and great craic. Everyone is welcome.

"Come along, raise a glass, and help us support the vital work these services do for families in our community."
