FOR four decades The Bardic Theatre in Donaghmore has been a cornerstone of community theatre.

Its commitment to the arts and local community was deservedly recognised at the Pride of Tyrone when it was named the winner of 'Contribution to the Arts for the Year'.

Running for 40 years, the cross-community theatre has educated both young and old in the dramatic arts, while also encouraging and promoting the arts in the county and throughout Mid Ulster.

Sponsored by Bellamianta, the accolade was presented by Linda Stinson.

"This recognition belongs to every cast member, crew member, front-of-house hero, and every single audience member who continues to support us," a spokesperson for the theatre said.

"You are the heart of Bardic.

"Thank you for believing in the magic of live theatre - we can’t wait to welcome you back in 2026."
