McDonald's backs local grassroots football club in Omagh

THE McDonald’s restaurant in Omagh has continued its longstanding sponsorship of local grassroots football club Strathroy Harps FC, by providing new training equipment, playing kits, coaches’ clothing, and other essential items for a number of girls teams at the club.

Strathroy Harps FC was formed in 2002 and currently boasts over 300 members across its youth and senior teams.

McDonald’s Omagh Franchisee Supervisor, Christopher Lawn said: “McDonald’s is committed to feeding and fostering the local communities in which we serve and supporting local grassroots clubs like Strathroy Harps FC is a great way for us to demonstrate that. Grassroots football clubs provide children in our community with the opportunity to play football in a safe, controlled and fun environment and we hope we can continue our support of Strathroy Harps FC long into the future."
