Community in shock as two men found dead at house in Tyrone

TWO men are understood to have been found dead in the Garvaghy Road area near Ballygawley.

Police were called to a house in the area last night (Tuesday) at around 6.30pm, where they made the discovery.

It is believed, locally, that the men were known to each other and that one male was aged in his 50s while the other was older.

Expressing shock at the news, DUP MLA., Deborah Erskine said: "My foremost thoughts are with the family, who will be devastated at the loss of two family members."

West Tyrone MP Orfhlaith Begley, said: "Tragic news this morning with two sudden deaths in Garvaghy. Thinking of the night knit community in that area."
