Fintona rider competes in Jumping Ponies Trophy Finals in Belgium

ULSTER Region Pony athlete Zara-Jane Kelly and her pony Romabout are taking part in the FEI Jumping Ponies Trophy Finals at The World Cup Mechelen in Belgium over the next few days.

This is a pony competition at the very highest level, with the top 20 pony athletes in Europe battling it out in the final.

The talented Fintona schoolgirl must be commended and congratulated on her qualification for this prestigious event, not an easy task!

Zara-Jane and Romabout (Harry) have really excelled this year, winning three Ballinroe Pony Premiers outright, winning the Ballinroe Pony Premier 'Overall Leading Rider' and Ballinroe Pony Premier 'Overall Leading Pony' 2024.

They were fifth in the FEI Jumping Ponies Trophy Grand Prix at World Cup Herning, qualifying them for the FEI Jumping Ponies Trophy final in Mechelen.
