THE Brendan Keogh Youth League (BKYL) squad, coaches and management have been confirmed for this week's Foyle Cup, which is running until Saturday.

Rhys McQuigg will manage the squad at the tournament.

He is well known to the local coaching game having coached at Fivemiletown United and Lisnaskea Rovers and will be part of the coaching staff for Portadown U20s for the 2023/24 season.

Harvey Latimer will join the team as a coach having come into the coaching game little under a year ago. Harvey has quickly adapted to it and has thrived in the coaching environment.

His playing experience with Fivemiletown, Ballinamallard and the Fermanagh Super Cup will only benefit the boys at the week long tournament.

Connor Boyd, also of Fivemiletown United, who previously played with Enniskillen Rangers has only begun his coaching journey but already has proved to be a major asset to the squad with his knowledge.

McQuigg has named the captain and vice-captain for the upcoming tournament.

The squad will be captained by Lisbellaw United’s TJ McNulty and ably assisted by Enniskillen Town United’s Cohen Murphy.

The BKYL Select Squad would like to thank Chris Morrow of We Connect U 24/7 for sponsoring the squad kits for the upcoming tournament.

Chris is a local football man who cut his teeth refereeing in the BKYL 25 years ago and went on to have an excellent career with the whistle.

A spokesperson added: "We are delighted to have Chris on board and wish him and his business every success in the future."
