THE annual Ken Irwin Autotest was held at Omagh Showgrounds on Saturday, following the cancellation of the event from the previous Saturday because of the accumulation of snow.
Over 20 competitors, some travelling quite a distance, competed in three classes over 12 different tests supporting the event sponsored by legendary Autotest champion, Ken Irwin, from Castlederg.
Peter Grimes, Dublin, won the event overall in his Mini Special, with Steven Ferguson, Stewartstown, also in a Mini Special, second overall.
Local competitors included Ian Lowry, second in the Clubman class, Adam and Jack Lowry, Castlederg, Dale McAleer, Omagh, Alistair Barker, Seskinore and Nial Donnelly, Beragh.
Time keepeing was expertly carried out by Declan McAleer and his team.
