Accies girls' side through to cup semi-finals

GIRLS' youth rugby continues to thrive in Omagh with both Omagh Accies U14 and U16 girls' squads through to the semi-finals of their respective cups.

On Sunday both teams travelled to their opponents - U14 to Innishowen while the U16 squad travelled to Ballymoney to face a combined team of Ballymoney/Limavady/Coleraine.

It was a day of numerous tries and conversions as both squads came away with 59-0 wins.

The teams will continue their league campaigns this weekend at home, hosting combined sides of Ballymena/Cooke/Instonians.

Kick-off is scheduled for 1pm.
