ERNE Wrestling Club has been very busy over recent weeks.
Members were in action on the first weekend of February in Kettering, England, where Naoise McManus and Jamie Edgar competed at the English Junior Championships.
Naoise brought home the gold and Jamie secured the bronze medal both at U17.
Naoise continues her drive for European selection as part of team GB and Jamie is really starting to make a break in these higher level competitions.
He had to battle his way back through repechage to take the bronze.
These two training together has lifted both technically in preparation for matches.
Darragh Love and Tomás Gormley stepped up in the English Senior Championships last weekend.
Again, really important for these two in their European selection process for GB and Ireland respectively.
Both Love and Gormley matched up against strong wrestlers with international experience and finished the day with bronze medals - a fantastic achievement for these athletes.
At the same time, Naoise McManus was on the mat internationally, representing Great Britain in Wolfhurt, Austria at the United World Wrestling (UWW) Flatz Open.
Another super UWW outing resulting in her securing the U17 57kg bronze medal.
A club spokesperson said: "Erne Wrestling Club is producing serious competitors with international experience as well as people who want to enjoy better fitness in a fun environment.
"The club will be hosting its annual St Patrick's tournament on March 21 at Devenish College.
"This is free spectator entry to enjoy and support our local club and clubs from all over Ireland.
"Sponsorship packages are available to help this event. Please contact the club via Facebook or instagram."
