Goals aplenty across cup and league fixtures

AUGHER Stars are six points clear at the summit of Division One in the Fermanagh and Western Football League.

Stars posted four without replay against relegation-threatened Beragh Swifts on Saturday, with Enniskillen Town United moving into second.

Town edged out Killen Rangers 2-1.

NFC Kesh currently sit third equal on 28 points with Town, having played a game less than than the Fermanagh side, and four less than the current leaders.

Elsewhere, Lisbellaw United needed the one goal to edge past Dergview Reserves, while Tummery Athletic edged a thrilling encounter with Magheraveely 3-2.

Ballinamallard United Reserves were 4-1 winners at Strathroy Harps.

In the only game of Division Two, there was no less than ten goals shared between Orchard Farm and Omagh Hospitals.

The newly-promoted Hossies were 6-4 victors.

In Division Three, Dunbreen Rovers enjoyed a comfortable 4-0 win at Omagh Town, while second-placed Lisnaskea Rovers maintained their challenge for honours with an emphatic 6-0 win against Enniskillen Galaxy.

Third-placed Drumquin United defeated Maguiresbridge 3-0 and St Patrick's were 4-2 victors over Lisnarick.

The remaining Round One fixtures of the Mulhern and Reihill Cups were also played on Saturday.

In the Mulhern Cup, Enniskillen Rangers and Mountfield advance to the next round following their respectives wins over Fivemiletown United Development and Castlederg United.

Fintona Swifts are also through following their 2-1 win in a tight encounter with Mountjoy United.

Dunbreen Rovers Reserves, Irvinestown Wanderers Reserves, Enniskillen Town United Reserves and Killen Rangers Reserves recorded wins to advance to the next round of the Reihill Cup.
